Lady Corbie was born from my love of craftsmanship, natural fibres, and the slow, deliberate process of making something well.
Each coat is handcrafted here in Ayrshire, Scotland, inspired by the landscape that surrounds me and the heritage that continues to shape my work.
I started Lady Corbie to create coats with meaning, garments that carry a sense of time, care, and intention. Every piece is made slowly and thoughtfully, using British wools, natural linings, and details that honour traditional techniques.
I’m inspired by women who move through the world with quiet strength, women who value authenticity, comfort, and purpose over passing trends. My hope is that each Lady Corbie coat feels like an heirloom in the making: something to be worn, loved, and eventually passed on.

My Story
I’ve always been drawn to design, to the way form, texture, and detail can completely change how something feels and looks.
After a career in estate agency and property, I decided to follow my creative instincts, from the moment I walked into the sewing room at college, I knew I’d found my place.
I went on to gain a First-Class Honours Degree in Fashion Design and Production through Manchester Metropolitan University, where my love for wool and traditional fabrics truly began. The craftsmanship and history woven into heritage textiles completely captivated me.
After graduating, I trained with The King’s Foundation on a graduate fashion programme — a landmark collaboration between His Majesty (then The Prince of Wales) and NET-A-PORTER. Working within the small Textile Centre at Dumfries House was an extraordinary experience that deepened my respect for skill, patience, and British manufacturing.
From trainee to Textiles Manager, my journey with The King’s Foundation has shaped everything I do. It’s proof that it’s never too late to begin again.
Now, as I complete a Master’s in Creative Practice, I’m launching Lady Corbie, a brand rooted in heritage, sustainability, and the quiet strength that comes from creating something by hand and with heart.
